To our new friends at North Star Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska:
Here is our quilt from Washington District School in Buckhannon, WV and the fifth grade who worked on it. I had the students make the blocks in art class as we learned more about our Mountain State. The classroom teacher, Sue Armentrout did fun activities with the class as they learned about Alaska and the Iditirod.
After I pieced the quilt, students helped me knot it. We really enjoyed making the quilt and learning about Alaska!
