All the way from Japan....Well hello or I should say Konicihiwa (good afternoon), We are a small military school located in Iwakuni, Japan. That is about 1 hour North of Hiroshima and approximately a 4 hour shin train ride to Tokyo. The elementary school I work in has approximately 500 students the middle/high school that we are with has about 240 students in grades 7th-12th grades. If you want to look up things that are nearby try the Kintai bridge which is considered an historic landmark in Japan as well as are White Snakes which only live in Iwakuni, Japan. My children were very excited to hear about the different states that will also be making quilts. Maria
